I'm confused - Why does this oil Futures chart look like this

Whilst the Aprils' expiry chart looks like this : ????

I heard that oil was up today (by about 3.82 to around 33.43 - Just as reflected in the uppermost chart)

Aprils' expiry though was down by .74 to 3.65

It's always been my understanding that we should be using the cash chart - but obviously one couldn't trade based on that chart !

Where do you folks get your oil charts from ?....
Are Barcharts' charts utterly useless or something ?

Numbers seem all over the place as well....http://www.barchart.com/commodityfutures/Crude_Oil_Futures/CL?search=CL*

Sure can't enter trades based on charts one's unsure of !
